Embraer takes Ipanema 203 cropduster to Agrishow with a focus on expanding into new markets
April 27, 2026
• Ethanol-powered aircraft combines technology, tradition, high productivity, precision and low operating costs
• Aircraft, the sales leader in the agricultural aviation market, recently received certification to operate in Paraguay
Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, April 27, 2026 - Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ/B3: EMBJ3) will exhibit during the 31st editon of Agrishow, that takes place between April 27 and May 1, in Ribeirão Preto (SP), the top-selling cropduster in the Brazilian agricultural aviation market, the Ipanema 203 powered by 100% ethanol. Recently, the aircraft received certification to operate in Paraguay and continues to advance in its strategy of opening new markets.
"Agrishow, one of the largest agricultural fairs in the world and the largest agricultural fair in Brazil, is a great opportunity for producers and those from neighboring countries to learn about our solutions that deliver higher productivity and lower cost for their crops. And, in agricultural aviation, the ethanol-powered Ipanema 203 is a strong ally for these needs," says Sany Onofre, Embraer's Agricultural Aviation leader.
The aircraft, a sales leader in the Brazilian agricultural aviation market and a pioneer in the use of ethanol, can spray more than 200 hectares per hour, delivering a high-quality application at constant speed, without kneading the soil or spreading pests by contact, generating a result for the field of 5 to 15 more bags per hectare. "The agricultural sector is one of the main markets in our country and our neighbors, and we are ready to help our customers and operators boost their business," says Sany.
In addition to participating in the most important events in the agricultural sector with Ipanema 203, Embraer has also been promoting flight safety both at and beyond these events by carrying out an intense agenda of initiatives focused on topics such as preventive inspections, safe environment, and best practices for pilots, mechanics and operators. For years, for example, 100% of agricultural pilot training classes in Brazil have attended a lecture delivered by the Ipanema Customer Support Team, ensuring that strong culture of flight safety is instilled from the very beginning of an agricultural pilot's professional career.
